No Holds Barred: One on one with good ol? Jim Ross
The fans should not worry about The Rock returning and wrestling,? Ross said. ?The Rock?s going to return and wrestle every opportunity he gets.
?I hope all his movies are blockbuster hits, but if he?s like every other movie star, they won?t be. There may be a time when he?s going to be between movies longer than he had projected, and I can assure you that if he?s between films, he?ll be right back on Raw, right back on pay-per-view.?
How can Ross be so sure?
?There?s nothing that can replicate the feeling that he gets, or any other athlete gets, at a WWE event. It?s in his blood. Our fans should not worry about The Rock coming back to wrestle for the WWE. It?s absolutely inevitable.?
In fact, the longtime Raw commentator doesn?t blame The Rock for seizing the Hollywood moment.
?He?s a 30-year-old kid that has an opportunity of a lifetime. I don?t think that there?s anybody, including myself if I was his age, that we wouldn?t jump at the opportunity to make movies and major-budget motion pictures and work with talented and successful directors.?
Ross, who signed, sealed and delivered The Rock, speaks with pride when he discusses the self-proclaimed Great One.
Walking Tall Set Pictures Online! Source: Hollywood North Report
Filming is underway in Vancouver on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Johnny Knoxville’s next project, Walking Tall. The reconstituted vigilante tale casts The Rock as a guy who returns to his hometown, stands up to local roughnecks and becomes sheriff. Knoxville will play a local underachiever with a good heart who is deputized by the sheriff.

Mic Foley recently had an interview and below is the part where he talked about the rock and the link to his interview is right below.
What are your thoughts on the Rock being away from WWE for more then half of the year filming his movies, and do you feel that he will fully retire away from wrestling and move on to other projects like you did?
“Well, I think that The Rock has the world as kind of his oyster as he can do anything he wants to do. I think he will continue to show up in WWE rings as long as it is fun for him and I think he will always find it fun especially if Vince McMahon gives him that opportunity to show up, enjoy himself, and make an impact. I can’t see what the down side is.”
What are your memories of The Rock and Sock Connection, and what are your thoughts on the highest WWE Raw rated segment The Rock’s life?
“I had a grudge against The Rock stemming from the I quit match a few years ago and it took me a while to get over that, but once I did I started to be able to appreciate the magic of The Rock and Sock connection. I think that it is great that we are a tag team that is entirely known for their out of ring shenanigans, and I think it would be hard to find a really devout fan who remembers one match that really stood out. I think we had some good matches, but not any legendary matches.”

Rock v. The Hulk
If you have or haven’t purchased “The Scorpion King” music score CD yet, maybe you should or take a look at your DVD again toward the end of the film when The Rock is fighting Memnon.
Take note of the music that is playing. As you’ll find out it is the same music Universal Studios is using in “The Hulk” movie theater and TV trailers when that damn green thang is bouncing all over the Grand Canyon…
It totally pissed me off that the studio had licensed TSK music to The Hulk in order to promote the movie. I even know who is in charge of the Soundtrack Dept. at Universal Music Group and I called her to ask “why?” They didn’t give me a legitimate answer, but due to the fact I worked at label…it was probably to save money since both films are Universal’s.
Yes, only a Rock fan would notice someone else biting off the Rock to get famous themselves. Why can’t The Hulk have his own damn theme music.
Anyway, I thought this would be a tidbit for you all to know. So next time you see The Hulk promos you’ll know ….
Well everyone I was fortunate enough to sneak a peek at a rough directors cut of The Rock?s newest movie The Rundown. Formerly called Hell Dorado, The Rundown stars The Rock, Christopher Walkin, and Seann William Scott. Now being a rough cut there was a few things that will be changed. I will say however that the movie was very entertaining. I found that the action sequences were very good, in fact I feel some of the best The Rock has done yet. Now, I do have to bag on the plot a little. The Plot if you didn?t know is basically, The Rock, is man whose past is hidden in mystery and questions, and is forced to find the son of his employer who happened to be on a treasure hunt in the Amazon. Once he arrives there he meets Christopher Walkin?s character who is the ruthless leader of a enslaved mining town. The Rock then finds his man but of course Christopher Walkin has other ideas as to them going anywhere without getting his hands on the treasure that Seann William Scott?s character was looking for. I won?t say too much else about the plot. I will say that the girl in the movie played by Rosario Dawson did an ok job at acting, but brought up some nice sex appeal. It?s always good when you have a hot sweaty girl in the jungle. But, as I was saying before I felt the plot didn?t go anywhere. On the bright side Sean William Scotts character did bring up the comedy end of the movie. There?s a peeing scene that I found quite funny. The location shot were very nice. Hawaii sure does look like that Amazon. One of the persons I was with had a real problem with Christopher Walkin in the movie. They felt that he was a bad villain, and not nearly evil enough. I will say that myself, along with the rest of the audience got a big laugh at many of his talking scenes. All and all the movie was entertaining. Don?t expect too much of a plot and you will have fun. O, and there is a great cameo of Future Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in the beginning of the movie.
Johnny Knoxville to join Walking Tall
Johnny Knoxville has been set to join the Rock in “Walking Tall,” the MGM remake being directed by Kevin Bray. Knoxville will be paid a career best $5 million.

Raw Results
As we return, Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel is set up, but of course Jericho is speeding away from Goldberg. In his place, Christian comes out, welcoming us to the Peep Show. And for his first guest, he has the one and only, The Rock! The Rock comes out and gets in his posing. He congratulates Christian on cutting his hair and winning a Title. Christian says that he has to be brutally honest: Rock has been replaced. There is a new Champion of the People, Christian. Rock tells Christian that he is the only People’s Champ, the only jabroni-beatin, pie-eatin, trail-blazin, eyebrow-raisin, People’s Champion of the World. Christian says that these people love him and have made him the new People’s Champ. Rock says that they should ask the People. He hops out of the ring and goes out into the crowd. He asks some guy who the People’s Champ is, and he says The Rock. He asks two more, and they say The Rock. There ain’t but one Elvis, but one Statue of Liberty, and one People’s Champion, and that is The Rock. Chris Jericho walks down the ramp, saying that the Highlight Reel is back in the house. He tells Christian to step aside and Rock to get back in the ring. Jericho says that he didn’t get Speared last week, won’t get Speared tonight, and won’t get Speared at Bad Blood. Since he’s never felt it, he asks Rock what it feels like to be Speared by Goldberg. Rock says that it hurts. Jericho says that the interview is over now. Rock says that he’s not done. The Spear hurts like hell, but it isn’t going to hurt half as bad as Rock’s foot up Jericho’s ass. With that, Christian attacks Rock from behind and they double team Rock, stomping away on him. Booker T runs in and knocks Christian from the ring. Outside, he continues to stop away, while in the ring Rock clotheslines Jericho down. Spinebuster by Rock, followed with the People’s Elbow. Booker rolls Christian in the ring, and Rock gives him the Rock Bottom. Rock calls Booker in, and Booker hits the People’s Elbow on Christian. After Jericho and Christian have left, Booker tells Rock to give everyone a preview of his new spectacular: the Rockaroonie. Rock tries to get started, but can’t. He gets Booker to show him one time, and then performs the Rockaroonie.

Rock will be on Raw live and in person
Despite a huge amount of speculation, The Rock is scheduled to be live at RAW tonight in San Diego in person. As many of you know by now, he is scheduled to be on Chris Jericho?s ?Highlight Reel? segment tonight and some have even went as far as saying that it would be another appearance via satellite on the big screens. From what we know now, The Rock will be there in person.
Congratulations Sabrina you are our February 2012 DJ fan of the month!
This is why she is Dwayne Fan of The Month:
‘I have been a fan of The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, since i have been 9 years old. Now being 24, i have grown to appreciate and look up to him not only as a role model , but as someone that i consider a HUGE influence of who i am today. I used to go to RAW and Smackdown as a young girl, crying over just being in the same room as him. My family would know to buy my only his merchandise for holidays and special events. To this day, people still admire me for my dedication as a fan, and my willingness to one day meet him in person. I dont even know what i would do if i did, i know someone would have to catch me when i fall, becuase i know i would be hitting the floor!”
