Thanks to KD-MAD…
Not surprisingly, The Rock – or ‘Dwayne’ as Ma and Pa Johnson know him best – is someone John Woo is considering to headline his upcoming “He-Man” feature. Woo has been speaking to his “Spy Hunter” star about whether he’d be up for adorning the Power of Greyskull, but the timing of the production – the big guy’s booked out for a good while – might pose a problem. Watch this Space. Thanks to ‘Jellie’

Wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been slapped with a lawsuit by his former personal manager, who claims he’s owed a horde of cash by the star. Marty Adelstein recently filed the lawsuit claiming the musclebound screen star agreed to pay him 7.5 percent of the money he earns from his upcoming Spy Hunter film. In the suit, Adelstein claims the star already made $5 million during production alone. And Adelstein states he hasn’t been given his expected cut from the proceeds. Representatives for The Rock have yet to comment.

Ok since there is a lawsuit pending against Rock I thought I would dig up some info on exactly who this Marty Adelstein is. So I posted some info about him below:
Marty Adelstein is recognized as a trailblazing agent who has recently turned his focus to management and producing. A founding partner of Endeavor, he helped launch the agency in 1995 and became a driving force in establishing Endeavor as one of the top agencies in Hollywood. During his six-and-a-half-year tenure, he personally represented such motion picture and television clients as David E. Kelley, Bonnie & Terry Continue reading »

DWAYNE ‘THE ROCK’ JOHNSON and MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN have decided to make another movie together, after discovering they’re neighbours.
The muscle-bound screen stars teamed up for THE SCORPION KING and quickly became firm friends.
Duncan says, We recently found out we’re neighbours, and he was like, ‘So, when can I come over to your house?…’
“I was like, ‘Just come on down, you live two minutes up the street.’”
Duncan admits he’s looking forward to the opportunity to show off his new trim body in any project they work on together.

Seagal, Van Damme, Lundgren, Norris. For decades names like these have dominated the world of action movies. But, mighty warriors as they are, they cannot carry the torch forever. Someday, the grease-coated black hair in Steven Seagal?s ponytail will fade to gray, and with it, the end of an action era. So who will be there to answer the call as the new leaders of the genre? The Last Action Heroes have pinned their hopes on the emergence of two talents: Vin Diesel and The Rock. Who is the better choice to anoint as action?s best hope? Let?s discuss Continue reading »

Thanks to KD for sending: IGNFF: Will Far Cry be your next project? BOLL: I just got the first draft of the script. I’m really happy with the script, and Hunter: The Reckoning, we also have a very good script. Now it’s like a battle, what movie we do next? We don’t know. For Far Cry, you definitely need a big lead. We know that The Rock has interest in doing it?
It could be that we go for Bruce Willis or Kurt Russell to play the lead in Far Cry, and if we get one of the three big actors, then it’s a good idea to do Far Cry next, because you definitely need a big actor for this movie. Hunter: The Reckoning is more an ensemble cast, so you have a little more like BloodRayne, where you have four or five good name actors in it and a little more flexibility, so I don’t know now. I’m sitting down now in the editing room from tomorrow on, and in doing that we develop the project and see who’s interested in acting in the movie and we see then what movie we finally want to do. I’m working on getting Hitman, because this is my favorite game that I play? I think it’s a perfect idea for a movie? I want to do Fear Effect also, we have a first rough script, but it’s definitely not my next movie? But Hitman would be my favorite if I could get that.
Congratulations Sabrina you are our February 2012 DJ fan of the month!
This is why she is Dwayne Fan of The Month:
‘I have been a fan of The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, since i have been 9 years old. Now being 24, i have grown to appreciate and look up to him not only as a role model , but as someone that i consider a HUGE influence of who i am today. I used to go to RAW and Smackdown as a young girl, crying over just being in the same room as him. My family would know to buy my only his merchandise for holidays and special events. To this day, people still admire me for my dedication as a fan, and my willingness to one day meet him in person. I dont even know what i would do if i did, i know someone would have to catch me when i fall, becuase i know i would be hitting the floor!”
