The
back to school issue of After school all stars came out today. The newsletter
contained some important back to school tips and motivations and awareness for
keeping kids in school and involved.
“With
summer soon coming to an end and kids heading back to school, we all have a part
to play in helping children succeed in school and life. Even when it doesn’t
seem like it, the kids in our lives are looking to us for encouragement, safety
and inspiration. We are their examples, and we have the power to choose the kind
of example we will set. …”

I added screenshots from the new WWE Day of Reckoning 2 game. The only criticism I have of this game is The Rock is outdated. They are using a look from like 2 years ago but it still looks awesome nevertheless. Added1

I am doing some work on the site so there might be some downtime or moments when the site looks strange or disoriented just giving you guys a heads up!
CS!: You’re going to be starring in “Southland Tales”, the new movie from Richard (Donnie Darko) Kelly. Can you tell us a little about that?
Scott: It’s really hard to describe. The script is kinda similar to “Strangelove” or “Clockwork Orange.” It’s got a very Kubrick vibe to it, and I think he’s the kind of guy that could really pull off something really interesting. I play a guy who–he’s not really a racist cop but he’s an edgy cop–and I play his twin brother, so in the movie I play two guys. And the Rock plays this kind of action star who’s really Continue reading »
I have updated the southland tales page with 2 new cast members: Janeane Garofalo who will play General Tina McArthur and Nora Dunn who will be telling “Southland Tales” for Richard Kelly. She will play a hip soccer mom who tries to extort money from the character played by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Boxer). Dunn, perhaps best known for her work on “Saturday Night Live.”

The downloads section is back it has videos, soundbytes, and mp3′s of Rock from his WWE (as early as 1997)and film career. Please make sure to check it out. Also a new feature has been added called The People’s vault to the right in the sidebar. I will use this section to display memorable moments in Rock’s career. Right now you can relive Raw 2/21/98 when Rock gives Rolexes to the Nation but Farooq gets a special gift…find out what.
The Rock started on Tuesday after wrapping Gridiron Gang. He seems to be chomping at the bit as he’s been waiting a while for Southland Tales. As has been the trend for the sets, Alec Hammond’s group is working magic. The same can be said for April Ferry with the costumes. Both have been allowed to stretch out a lot more compared to Donnie Darko (a bigger budget does help).
This is from AICN:
Full DOOM trailer has tons of cool crap, including lots from the FPS sequence!!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a link over to Yahoo where you can see the new full DOOM trailer. Now there are a few nitpicks I can make about the trailer… “Kill anything that breathes” is an old, old, old line and that trailer music is so typical “hardcore action horror heavy metal” bullshit… But at least we didn’t get the “Let the Bodies hit the floor” song again.
4 new Doom stills added to the
Doom Gallery. Plus Yahoo! has a Doom feature up which has lots of
details on the upcoming film and the official teaser trailer along with a “Hail to the Eyebrow” Slideshow - Check out highlights from the ex-pro wrestler’s flourishing film career.
Thanks to KD_MAD and Diva for the heads up! :)
Congratulations Sabrina you are our February 2012 DJ fan of the month!
This is why she is Dwayne Fan of The Month:
‘I have been a fan of The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, since i have been 9 years old. Now being 24, i have grown to appreciate and look up to him not only as a role model , but as someone that i consider a HUGE influence of who i am today. I used to go to RAW and Smackdown as a young girl, crying over just being in the same room as him. My family would know to buy my only his merchandise for holidays and special events. To this day, people still admire me for my dedication as a fan, and my willingness to one day meet him in person. I dont even know what i would do if i did, i know someone would have to catch me when i fall, becuase i know i would be hitting the floor!”
