I hate this place. I hate penis eating minnows and I hate freaky fruit. I want to go home, I want concrete, I want home made tortellini. I want my Los Angeles Lakers. I want to go home, I want to go home, I want to go home. Get out of here Monkeys — -Dwayne as Beck in The Rundown

Mass. film industry wants piece of The Rock
courtesy of the Boston Herald:
Far be it for us to spill the beans on anything, but word?s out that producers from Walt Disney Pictures are eyeing the Bay State for ?Daddy?s Girl,? a $50 million family comedy starring The Rock.
We hear that Mickey?s movie peeps, who were lured here by the newly passed film tax incentive package, would begin shooting here in March should Massachusetts get the nod.
Mark Drago of the Mass. Sports & Entertainment Commission said he?s spoken with the producers of the film and that the commonwealth is a front-runner as a filming locale. Continue reading »

According to the latest alert sent in by ‘Trevor’, Uwe Boll is looking to work with Doomer Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for an adaptation of the best-selling shooter Far Cry.
Far Cry Adaptation Coming?
We were recently alerted that Uwe Boll was open to discuss future video game adaptations and the director admits that not only does he have a film in mind but also has already thought of two options to star in it– Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.
Actually read this in a wrestling magazine last week, and now Uwe Boll’s confirming it. The director (he did “Alone in the Dark”) says he’s chasing THE ROCK to star in “Far Cry”, the movie version of the video game. I guess he’d play the main guy – an action hero who if has to escape a gorgeous island paradise while stopping a mad scientist’s evil schemes.
His second choice for the lead is Jason Statham from “The Transporter”.

Dwayne had a few things to say about his relationship with Eddie Guerrero. I thought what he said was very touching. Big thanks to KD_MAD for always coming through and sending in news: ?I always felt a closeness to Eddy,? said Dwayne Johnson. ?Not only because of the love and passion we shared for the business, but because we both came from a long line of wrestlers. I remember my dad introducing me to Eddy?s family in the locker room when my dad worked in Houston for Paul Boesch. I remember when I came and worked Wrestlemania XX with Mick Foley a few years ago. When I got to the Garden, the first thing I did was find Eddy and Benoit to show them love and congratulations for being champions. I told Eddie I was so proud of him and that he had earned the right to call himself a world champion, and was proud to have him and Benoit representing me in the business as Continue reading »

Here’s an interesting read comparing Rock, Chris Rock and Diesel from boxofficeprophets.com:
David Mumpower: I think we should upgrade from Chris Rock to THE Rock. I mean, nobody else we’re talking about has as much experiencing doing live television than him, right?
Reagen Sulewski: Only if we’re guaranteed a Jack Nicholson powerslam.
David Mumpower: All four losers in each category get Rock Bottomed!
Joel Corcoran: If we’re going to The Rock, then why not launch all the way up to Vin Diesel?
Kim Hollis: I would suggest that Vin is a downgrade from The Rock. Though we’ll have to wait for The Rock’s daddy changing diapers movie to know for sure.

Here is an interesting read comparing The Rock and Vin Diesel’s acting career’s as of late. The article is from Guardian Unlimited Film:
Speaking of rocks getting schooled, things are not working out terribly well for Dwayne Johnson, the world’s most famous wrestler turned actor. When dwindling box office returns indicated that Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris were getting too old or paunchy to be credible as last action heroes, the path seemed clear for either Vin Diesel or The Rock to scoop up their fallen laurels. Alas, that vacancy has not yet been filled. After a series of shockingly inept gore-fests, fatally Continue reading »
Congratulations Sabrina you are our February 2012 DJ fan of the month!
This is why she is Dwayne Fan of The Month:
‘I have been a fan of The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, since i have been 9 years old. Now being 24, i have grown to appreciate and look up to him not only as a role model , but as someone that i consider a HUGE influence of who i am today. I used to go to RAW and Smackdown as a young girl, crying over just being in the same room as him. My family would know to buy my only his merchandise for holidays and special events. To this day, people still admire me for my dedication as a fan, and my willingness to one day meet him in person. I dont even know what i would do if i did, i know someone would have to catch me when i fall, becuase i know i would be hitting the floor!”
