Will moviegoers finally hear “the Peter Gunn Theme” in a local Cineplex? According to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, they will by next summer. The arcade classic Spy Hunter, which used the aforementioned tune to lure gamers into its tale of espionage and fast-driving cars, has long been in talks to get the big-screen treatment. MTV has up a new feature called Infocus to promote the mtv movie awards (see calendar) and they have a short but very nice slideshow bio on Dwayne. It’s really nice. I also added screen grabs of the slideshow to the galleries as well.

Disney president Nina Jacobson gave the official green light for “Daddy’s Girl,” Dwayne Johnson’s next movie, which will be a big budget family movie, on 4/10. In many ways this is the most important role Johnson has ever had. Shooting starts on 6/19 in Boston.

Now being 24, i have grown to appreciate and look up to him not only as a role model , but as someone that i consider a HUGE influence of who i am today. I used to go to RAW and Smackdown as a young girl, crying over just being in the same room as him. My family would know to buy my only his merchandise for holidays and special events.
