 Added 2 new Gridiron Gang set photos and a new one sheet poster  for the movie. Things are gonna be slow until Dwayne starts doing a  promotional tour for “Gridiron Gang” in the weeks leading up to that, hitting 12 cities, and spending a week in New York to hit all the major  talk shows.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be starring in the movie and video game Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run. He shares his thoughts here, in part one of his interview, on the video game and being compared to Knight Rider.
Were you a fan of the original, Spy Hunter?
The Rock: I was a big fan of the original game. When Midway came to me with the idea, of course, we were still in the development of the movie. So my first question was how is this game going to be different? How can it compete? They said for the first time the fans of the video game Spy Hunter are going to be able to get out of the car and actually become this character who’s been driving this car all this time.

The Southland Tales is going to be featured at Comic Con San Diego this year kicking off on July 20th – July 23rd:This years convention will offer up sneak peaks at Spider Man 3, Clerks 2, Ghost Rider, The Power of the Dark Crystal, Grind House, 300, Hot Fuzz, The Grudge 2, The Descent, The Southland Tales, and Sin City 2 just to name a handful.

Dwayne Johnson had surgery to re-attach his ruptured Achilles tendon on 6/23. In hindsight, he thinks he had been running his body down as he was doing six hours of ballet practice daily with the Boston Ballet plus doing football practice leading up to the movie The Game Plan, being shot. In the movie, Johnson’s character plays a Super Bowl-bound quarterback so he had to practice heavily at football to be believable in that role, plus the script has him doing a four-act professional ballet recital. In the script, his seven-year-old daughter in the movie is into ballet and he does it with her to show he’s committed to her. Continue reading »
