Well if anyone remembers I had up a feature post on the site a fews weeks back about Barack Obama and The Rock? Well guess what Barack came to the WWE on Monday night raw and he had to mention one of the rock’s infamous one liners in his speech.

 Obama borrowed the signature line from former WWE champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a warning to the special interests in Washington. “Do you smell what Barack is cooking?” Obama asks.

Hillary Clinton also vowed to drop the people’s elbow

Nice to see the WWE using it’s pull to encourage it’s fans to get involved and be aware and to VOTE! 

I thought this would be an interesting read. The organization for the cause that we are trying to raise money for through the DJ Bday Project The MTDN is getting some attention from celebrities:

I think this is great! It’s gets more people aware and more help for the non-profit causes sponsored by celebrities!

I just found out about this from prowrestling.net:

Tonight! 4/9/08 on American Idol John Cena, Triple H, Chris Jericho, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be among the celebrities appearing on tonight’s “American Idol” on FOX. (I bet Dwayne’s appearance will be taped) The show is dubbed “Idols Gives Back” and will also feature appearances the big three presidential candidates. During the show, viewers will be able to make donations to the various causes via internet or phone. Last year, the fundraising effort raised US$75 million for charities including the Children’s Defense Fund and the Children’s Health Fund.
