I did keep the outfit, you have to keep the pink tutu… because visually it just looks so absurd, size 14 pink ballet slippers, so I do have those — - Dwayne

Mtv.com has up a interview of Dwayne talking about Faster. They ask him about his name in the film just being “driver” which is what I was wondering too. Check out Dwayne he’s in a nice black shirt and looking good, he is bulking back up! I believe this was done at ShoWest earlier this month.
LAS VEGAS — Few have ever a Hollywood career like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. A professional wrestler, he was overlooked and underestimated as he entered the acting arena but unleashed a flurry of hits like “The Scorpion King,” “The Rundown” and “The Game Plan.” Recently, he began work on a new project that has him getting bigger, tougher and “Faster.” Continue reading »
Usatoday.com has up a first look article on Dwayne’s newest film “Faster”
PASADENA, Calif. — Dwayne Johnson lifts a revolver as large as his paw of a hand and takes a bead down the basement hall of an abandoned hospital.
Johnson steadies the Ruger double-action revolver — known as a “bear stopper” because hunters often carry the gun to stop charging animals — and pulls the trigger. Though he’s firing blanks, the thunder echoes through the halls, prompting film crewmembers to cover their ears, though many are wearing headphones.
He fires again. And again. When the gun is empty, he smiles broadly. “That,” he says, “feels nice.” Continue reading »
The man they once called The Rock is going back to a hard place.
After establishing himself as family-friendly movie star with “The Game Plan,” ”Race to Witch Mountain,” “Get Smart” and “Tooth Fairy,” actor Dwayne Johnson is going in a very different direction with his next film, “Faster,” which arrives in theaters in November with a brutal tale of R-rated vengeance.
“I’m taking it a different place with this one,” Johnson said last week, and that was abundantly clear by his surroundings. The 37-year-old actor with the diesel physique was standing on a gritty stretch of San Pedro sidewalk dotted with taverns and tattoo parlors and glowing with red promise of a neon sign advertising “Triple-XXX Peep Show.” During one break, Johnson looked down at one of his sinewy arms with disapproval — his fake prison tattoo was starting to fade. The official 1st still from the movie “Faster” starring Dwayne Johnson has been released. I have added the HQ photo it’s a shot of the prison which centers around Dwayne’s character “Driver” who is an ex-con set out for revenge.
Big cars, big guns, big bullets: Dwayne Johnson returns to form with the fast-paced action-thriller ‘Faster,’ and he gives our own Kevin Frazier a personal tour of the set!
“It’s a lot of fun getting back into the action genre,” says Dwayne, who assures Kevin that this is not ‘Tooth Fairy.’ “Anytime you can get in a classic car, man, and drive it around and shoot at the same time, it’s like boys with toys.”
In ‘Faster,’ coming to theaters this fall, Dwayne plays “a pretty bad guy” out for revenge after his brother is murdered.
“We run into some guys who try and take my life and take my brother’s life, and I have to go away and serve about 10 to 12 years in prison,” he explains. “When I get out I have to systematically find every single one of these guys — and these guys are going to pay, and the way they pay is with their life.”
The film, with is a co-production between CBS Films and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group, also stars Billy Bob Thornton as the cop who is one step behind catching Dwayne, plus Moon Bloodgood, Maggie Grace and newcomer Oliver Jackson-Cohen. Continue reading »

Congratulations Sabrina you are our February 2012 DJ fan of the month!
This is why she is Dwayne Fan of The Month:
‘I have been a fan of The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, since i have been 9 years old. Now being 24, i have grown to appreciate and look up to him not only as a role model , but as someone that i consider a HUGE influence of who i am today. I used to go to RAW and Smackdown as a young girl, crying over just being in the same room as him. My family would know to buy my only his merchandise for holidays and special events. To this day, people still admire me for my dedication as a fan, and my willingness to one day meet him in person. I dont even know what i would do if i did, i know someone would have to catch me when i fall, becuase i know i would be hitting the floor!”
