Total Film posted another exclusive set photo of Dwayne Johnson from the upcoming film “Faster” along w/an article which I had to have translated by Google so sorry if it’s a little off but i think it gets the point across. Check it out.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has several years of family comedies and adventure films focused, but now goes back to his roots: rock hard action. In Faster , directed George Tillman, Jr. (Notorious, Men of Honour), Dwayne is a man known as a ‘Driver’. He seeks revenge against the men that his brother in a mistaken prejudice robbery have killed him and left half dead. Meanwhile, he is followed by a policeman and a manic depressive killer.Dwayne sounds good.

Furthermore, we also have the acting of people like Billy Bob Thornton , Carla Gugino (Watchmen), Moon Bloodgood (Terminator Salvation) and the British rookie Oliver Jackson-Cohen may see. Faster will end this year in theaters.

In January, we received word that director Simon West and actor Paul Walker had been replaced by the duo of Patrick Alessandrin (of District 13: Ultimatum) and Clive Owen in the action flick Protection. Now it looks like we have another change in the talent line-up as The Wrap reports Alessandrin has left the project and Dwayne Johnson has replaced Owen in the film about a disgraced ex-Special Forces soldier who takes on a Mexican cartel in an attempt to rescue and protect a judge’s 21 year-old daughter, who has been targeted by the cartel for agreeing to testify against a member after she witnesses her father’s murder. Dwayne Johnson makes a cameo appearance in Tyler Perry’s “Why did I Get Married Too.” I don’t want to spoil too much but he’s in the film and after all Patty (Patricia) played by Janet Jackson has been through up pops Dwayne and he asks her
“I just wanted to know if you wanted to have a drink sometime?” of course he has more lines than that but that is the main moment. Check out the movie btw it’s good.

Here is the first trailer from the movie “The Other Guys.” I think this is gonna be a really funny movie I love the all star cast already. The trailer gives us a look at Dwayne and Samuel’s characters so obviously they are going to be playing the brash, cocky cops but Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg want to be like them so this is gonna be really funny. Is it just me or does anyone else see a little “rock” coming through in Dwayne’s character in the trailer. Let me know what you guys think leave your comments below.
