Well we all were in for a treat on Raw Monday Night where The Rock appeared via titantron to accept John Cena’s request to be his tag team partner at Survivor Series:

Finally, The Rock has come back to Survivor Series! Seven days after John Cena invited The Great One to team with him against The Miz & R-Truth at the same event where Rock made his WWE debut, The People’s Champion appeared via satellite to accept the Cenation leader’s offer. Admitting that an outpouring of support from the WWE Universe helped sway his decision, The Brahma Bull revealed that he’s ready to whoop The “Awesome Truth” on Nov. 20. And with that, the most charismatic tag team in WWE history is born. (MATCH PREVIEW)

If that wasn’t enough, it was announced that The Great One will return to WWE Raw SuperShow on Nov. 14 for a live three-hour special when Raw gets Rocked! (WATCH)

On Monday’s WWE Raw SuperShow, John Cena announced that he wanted The Rock to be his partner against The Miz & R-Truth at Survivor Series — a choice that has many WWE fans scratching their heads. After all, isn’t The Great One the man who cost Cena his WWE Title Match against The Miz at WrestleMania XXVII? Didn’t he once call the Cenation leader a “big fat bowl of Fruity Pebbles?” Isn’t he the Superstar who will be standing across the ring from Cena at WrestleMania XXVIII in the most anticipated bout in WWE history?

Why in the world would Cena want this man in his corner?

Here’s a look at the official WWE video for Wrestlemania 28 announcing ticket sales to kick off on Nov 5, 2011 and they obviously were smart enough to have Rock featured in the video. Also tickets start at 25.00 so they are gonna be affordable!

October 18, 2011 — The PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS, the only major awards show where fans determine the nominees and winners across categories of music, movies and television, has announced that voting to determine the nominees is now officially open at www.PeoplesChoice.com. Fans can vote across 41 categories including Favorite Movie Actor, Favorite TV Comedy and Favorite Female Artist.

The top five in each category will become the official nominees and will be announced on November 8, 2011 at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills during the annual PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS press conference. PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 will be broadcast Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

In People’s Choice tradition, fans chose 6 new award categories, including Favorite Movie Icon, Favorite Movie Superhero, Favorite Book Adaptation, Favorite TV Celebreality Star, Favorite Album of the Year and Favorite Tour Headliner.

Just a quick tidbit about Raw this past monday night. Apparently things are shaping up for The Rock’s return at Survivor Series as John Cena called out The Rock to be his partner at Survivor Series. Here’s the full scoop:

John Cena def. The Miz & R-Truth by Disqualification; Cena chose his partner for Survivor Series
After his partner, Zack Ryder, was taken out by The “Awesome Truth,” John Cena was forced to face the dangerous pair alone — a challenge he was more than ready to embrace. Singlehandedly battering the two men who cost him the WWE Title at Vengeance, the powerful Superstar was close to winning this bout on his own before The Awesome One and his deranged partner double teamed Cena, resulting in a disqualification.

Looking to bring order back to his show, Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis ordered the team to exit the ring. The executive then made a huge announcement — John Cena will take on The Miz & R-Truth at Survivor Series with a partner of his choosing. Who did the former WWE Champion pick? His WrestleMania XXVIII opponent, The Rock. (WATCH) But will The Great One accept this huge offer?

Hopefully in the next 2 weeks we will get an answer from The Great One!

New fact Dwayne Johnson had lasik eye surgery done sometime between 2009 and 2010. I found an article posted by a lasik center in Florida where celebrites were mentioned such as Dwayne Johnson and Dwayne Wade having received lasik by the famous eye surgeon there. Anyways I have added 2 pictures Dwayne took with the Doctor there.

Added a ringshot photo of Dwayne saluting the “U” (University of Miami) back in May of 2011 when he was doing promo work for WWE Wrestlemania. I thought it was a nice touch from Miami’s favorite son!

I have added a photo from a photoshoot Dwayne recently completed for Journey 2 Mysterious with photographer assistant Deidre Lackey of Hayden and photographer Brian Bowen Smith which was a large, four-set shoot for the movie that included Dwayne Johnson, Vanessa Hudgens (who was “High School Musical”), Josh Hucherson (in “Journey to the Center of the Earth”) and others. Hopefully more will surface soon.
