More CM Punk comments sounds like he changed his tune a little: Punk on the Rock: “I don’t know Dwayne personally. I’m glad he’s back. He came back for Survivor Series, some more people watched the show, and they watched me become the man and watched me steal the show. So, it’s a business thing, but whatever industry you’re in, if that happens…I’m pissed off that I’m on the only one pissed off. It’s like, ‘Come on guys, don’t you have any pride in what you do? You’re just gonna let this guy come in [and steal the show]?”
First he didn’t steal the show anyone that watched saw that the one that had the most excitement happening was The Rock. Those people couldn’t get enough of him.
Second he wasn’t even the second most popular wrestler of the night that would belong to Zach Ryder since it was his name they chanted througout the night.
Third umm if you are happy he came back how can you utter that you are pissed you are the only one that’s upset about it in the same statement. Contradiction much. Maybe everyone else sees you for the jealous twirp you are acting. Wow he’s a bit premature with his I’m the best ego hope he outlasts the year with his popularity.
Finally just want to say I’m beginning to think he’s just trying to get DJ to fight with him as he knows that’s where all the hype fame and money is at. He can talk Stone Cold all he wants but the main stream publicity comes from DJ he’s beyond wrestling.
Honestly, I get where Punk is coming from. Everyone there claims to want to be the best, and being the best=main event at Wrestlemania, but everyone is talking about how happy they are that Dwayne, a guy who DOES NOT NEED THAT SPOT, has taken that spot. I love Dwayne, but frankly, I’m surprised that even more of the guys in the back haven’t come out and spoken out against this. Hell, if I were Punk, I’d be incredibly frustrated that a not even part-time dude has come in A YEAR IN ADVANCE and taken the spot that I’ve been busting my tail to get.
Just because I love Dwayne does not mean that I will blindly defend him. It’s always nice to see him on my TV, but I 100% see where Punk is coming from.
I don’t think I or anyone else is just blindly defending Dwayne. Frankly it’s not his fault if he’s put in as the #1 spot. It’s the fault of WWE/Vince. And that is who they should make noise at. I’m sorry but its simple. If Hulk Hogan/Stone Cold/Bret Hart come back Shawn Michaels. Yeah they get the #1 spot because they are legendary. The fans want it. Otherwise DJ wouldn’t have been selling out as much as he has. It’s at the end a business. Punk rags and rags on the wrestler and it’s your company dude take it up with the brass. If you have beef talk to management be a man about it. Going on radio and any outlet going Rock sucks I don’t like him and making these kind of comments doesn’t do anything for you. It may be annoying but it is what it is in the company you work for. Honestly if Punk were garnering as much business as DJ does for them I’d say hey he’s right he’s bringing the money. But sorry he’s just not. He’s not as popular. Maybe one day right now he isn’t. You can’t get mad at your company in these times trying to do what will bring them and everyone that works for WWE more money. If he just stops whining does his thing he never knows what will come in the future. I hear so much talk about he has worked hard for 14 years. Well if you didn’t strike it with fans in that time to be champ that’s not anyone’s fault. So instead of being so bitter just enjoy it already and the dude should move on and just be champ.

TALOFA LAVA! I watched Dwayne Johnson during the Attitude Era and I became a huge fan. One of my favorite matches is when he wrestles Mankind in an empty area for the WWF Champion belt. Even though he lost it was one of the funniest and creative matches ever. From being a wrestler to an actor his story inspires me because he is the result that with hard work anything is possible. He had many setbacks in his life but he strives and perseveres in achieving his goals. I am a huge fan because he stays true to himself and a very humble person. I love the fact that he represents his cultures and being Samoan he shows the respect, faith, and pride of our people. Overall, Dwayne is unstoppable and will inspire future generations to come. TEAM BRING IT! ALL DAY EVERYDAY!
